Auch auf Hellgatelondon.com ist der Release nun offiziell angekündigt. Die Flagship Studios BEDANKEN SICH für die Unterstützung der Fans seit der Gründung der Entwicklerschmiede im Jahr 2003:

The regular and collector's edition boxes are hitting store shelves. Games have been arriving in mailboxes across the world. Hellgate: London is digitally streaming across the Internet onto computers of eager gamers. And our servers are up and the battle to save London is officially underway.
It's been a long road from when we started Flagship Studios in July of 2003 to now. And we wanted to take a few lines to thank everyone for joining us on that ride. First and foremost are the fans, some of which have been with us since day one. Our fan site community is amazing, and the support we have received in emails, phone calls, IMs and forum posts have gone a long way towards keeping our spirits high and our resolve firm.
We want to say THANK YOU to all of the wives, husbands, boyfriends, girlfriends, families and significant others that have supported our crazy endeavor. Your understanding and encouragement over the past four years has been appreciated in ways we can't properly express.
We also want to offer some special thanks to our publishing partners all across the world. You took a risk on us and our idea, and you've been supportive of our design philosophies and our development processes. In an atmosphere of, "ship at any cost" you encouraged us to take the time we needed to achieve our goals and make Hellgate: London the best game we could create.
And finally, I want to express my gratitude to all of the people at Flagship Studios and Ping0. What started out with a single, high-level idea has grown into a project and companies that are grander than anything we could have envisioned. The people that are here comprise the best teams I have ever had the honor to work with. And the passion and dedication and pure sweat they have poured into making this release a reality is second to none. Thank you all for your unwavering commitment.
So, enough jibber-jabber! Let's play some Hellgate: London! We hope you have as much fun playing the game as we've had making it.

Außerdem gibt es Neues zu den Zahlungsmöglichkeiten für die Abonnements: Bezahlt werden kann in Deutschland scheinbar derzeit nur per Kreditkarte. Für einen Monat werden 9,99 Euro fällig, wer gleich sechs Monate abonniert zahlt 51,94 Euro und damit circa 8,65 Euro im Monat.

UPDATE: Es gibt derzeit Probleme beim Bezahlen per Kreditkarte. Die Flagship Studios arbeiten bereits an einer Lösung zusammen mit ihrer Partner-Bank.
